Luna: the first unit reaches finished-floor stage

Five days after the subfloor was leveled, the first unit at Luna has its finished floor installed. Herringbone parquet, laid unit by unit — sequencing that matters as much as the material specification itself.

The first unit at Luna now has its finished floor installed — herringbone parquet, laid directly onto the leveled subfloor completed in the previous phase. This marks the transition from demolition to a product a prospective tenant can actually evaluate in person.

Why a phased, unit-by-unit approach

Rather than finishing the entire building simultaneously, I am sequencing Luna unit by unit, prioritizing the space with the strongest leasing prospects first. This approach serves two purposes: it gives prospective tenants a completed reference point rather than a floor plan and a promise, and it establishes a real cost and timeline benchmark before the remaining CapEx is committed.

The parquet installation was carried out by Zwiers & Zonen, the same contractor responsible for the subfloor leveling in the prior phase. Continuity of trade across both steps is a deliberate choice — the team that leveled the subfloor has direct knowledge of what sits beneath the finish, which is valuable the moment any part of that floor needs to be accessed again.

The commercial impact

A single finished unit shifts the building's positioning from "under construction" to demonstrable product. That distinction is material in leasing conversations: describing a turn-key office and showing one produce materially different outcomes.

What's next

The remaining units follow the same sequence — subfloor leveling, then finish installation, one unit at a time. Availability of approximately 200 sqm of turn-key office space at Luna remains on track for the coming months.

Further updates as the repositioning progresses.
